Our congregation:

☺ all people matter to God

☺ God’s family is diverse, with all sorts of different people included and welcome

☺ kids benefit from being involved in all of church life from the beginning

the children in Abbey are known as OAKs (Our Abbey Kids)

☺ we all benefit from practicing generosity and tolerance so everyone’s needs are met.

How it works:

Sunday mornings:

With these values in mind, we aim to build Sunday morning services that stretch mature adults and also engage kids (OAKs), sometimes at the same time and sometimes with different parts of the service aimed at different groups. Typically, our Sunday Morning service will be 50 minutes and we hope to involve different members and visitors to share with us (please contact us if you can be involved)

Stay-on-Sundays: (please check for dates)

Once a month we will stay on after the service to fellowship and bring food to share over lunch. We aim to have activities to incorporate all ages as the church family together.

Tuesday Oasis days:

Monthly day of retreat. (First Tuesday every month)

Wednesday Evenings: (STARTING IN OCTOBER)

Mid-week ‘going deeper’ this evening is aimed to stretch us a little more, to ask questions and to respond to the previous Sunday Service.

Saturday Mornings: (please check for dates)

Our Prayer meeting runs from 8.30am – 9.00 am please join us to pray for our church, our neighbours, the city, Ireland and beyond.

The church will remain open to welcome people for coffee, please drop by!

Preparation for Sundays can also be done on Saturday mornings and you can help with visual aids, sound system, music or readings.

The church will also be open once a week (usually Fridays, please check web site)
