Oasis Day by Abbey Church @ Margaret Aylward Centre
Aug 10 @ 9:30 am – 2:00 pm

Life is hectic and we can become enslaved to our smart phones and 24/7 communication mindset. We may wish we could be free for a while and pursue God in a little solitude and silence. Well, here’s your chance. Starting on Saturday 26th January, we’ll be holding ten Oasis Days throughout 2019. These will all take place in the beautiful and inspiring grounds of the Margaret Aylward Centre (not far from The National Botanical Gardens).
If you’ve never done anything like this before and you’re not sure whether it’s for you, either go to Alan for a chat or just take the risk and come along. You’ll be surprised how the time passes and how refreshed you’ll be afterwards.
For catering purposes (light lunch is included) please indicate your intention to attend (indicating which date(s) you are registering for) to: aboal@presbyterianireland.org or 01 8378600
Suggested vluntary donation is €10 per person per Oasis Day

How to find us by car:

From M50: Take Exit 5 Finglas , proceed onto R135 North Road and exit left onto R102 Old Finglas Rd (signs for Bon Secours Hospital and Margaret Aylward Centre). Proceed  along Old Finglas Road to Holy Faith Convent grounds on right,  (just before the traffic lights at the Met Office).  Once in the grounds, follow signage to the right.

From city centre: Drive out of the city centre to the Botanical Gardens. As you pass the Botanical Gardens on your left, proceed up Glasnevin Hill, through the traffic lights at the Meteorological Office and immediately left into the grounds of the Holy Faith Convent in Glasnevin.

By Bus: No 83 bus stops outside the convent gate. It leaves the city centre on Westmoreland street, and our stop is called Met Office/Glasnevin Hill stop.
