Ecumenical Bible Week (Various Locations)

This year’s Ecumenical Bible Week will take place from 20-27 May with the theme: ‘Handing on Faith – Crisis, Challenge and the Great Commission’.

Now in its fifth year, this parish-based ecumenical event is jointly sponsored by the Archdiocese of Dublin, the Church of Ireland Diocese of Dublin & Glendalough, as well as other key groups such as the Scripture Union.

The week begins on Pentecost Sunday with ‘Praying the New Cosmology’, a talk by theologian and Dublin priest, Rev Dr Dermot Lane.

The week’s events will continue in 13 venues across Dublin and its surrounding areas up until 27 May.

Morning Worship @ Abbey Presbyterian Church Dublin

City Centre Worship Service in the heart of Dublin. We meet for our morning worship service weekly. People from all  around the world, visitors to Dublin, students studying, long term residents of Dublin, newcomers and those seeking out church for the first time.

Everyone is welcome to come along, seek us out, join us for the day or for longer.

Morning Worship begins at 11am but you are encouraged to arrive from 10.30am -10.50am ( we close the main doors at 11.20am to ensure that there is less distration from the coming and going during the service)

Our Church reflects the aspects of City life and we look forward to being a welcome and making

God’s Glory our pleasure. Our service is family orientated and we include all ages.

Quiet activity bags are provided for small children and the service is relayed into the vesibule enterance if children need to be settled away from the main service.

We provide activity sheets for older children and they are encouraged to participte in our services.

Morning Worship is followed by Tea and coffee together  giving us opportunity to share together and get to know new comers. On the first Sunday monthly we have a bring and share lunch together.

If you are new to the congregation please make yourself known to us, we are glad to welcome you.
