The Hugh Lane Gallery’s popular Sunday Concert Series will continue into 2026, taking place at the historic Abbey Presbyterian Church (Findlater’s) located just a few doors from the gallery on Parnell Square North. Please note that all concerts at the Abbey Church will begin at 1.00pm, and from 2026 there will be two Sunday concerts each month.
The programme will feature performances from the National String Quartet Foundation ensembles, pianist Ellen Jansson, traditional music trio Cormac Breatnach (whistles), Martin Dunlea (guitar) and Brian Fleming (percussion), as well as the acclaimed Hard Rain Soloist Ensemble.
This first instalment of the 2026 series will conclude on March 8th with a special concert marking International Women’s Day, featuring the Banbha Quartet in association with the Finding a Voice Festival.
Admission to Sunday concerts is free but ticketed via Eventbrite. Booking is available Monday before each concert from 10am. Please see the Hugh Lane Gallery’s website www.hughlane.ie for listings, or subscribe to the mailing list for news and availability.
