The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a worldwide Christian celebration and each year the service is developed by a different Christian community. In 2013 the service was developed by a team of the Student Christian Movement of India. This year, it is Canada’s turn for just the third time in 100 years. Canada is a country marked by diversity in language, culture, and even climate, and it also embodies diversity in expressions of Christian faith. Living with this diversity, but being faithful to Christ’s desire for the unity of his disciples, has led them to a reflection on Paul’s provocative question in 1 Corinthians, “Has Christ been divided?”

To mark this important event in the Christian calendar, our churches and community together in the

Church of St John the Baptist, Drumcondra, and the All Hallows College Community cordially invite you to celebrate together this Friday, 31st January from 19.30 pm at Church of St John the Baptist, Drumcondra.

Refreshments will be served in the Coffee Dock in All Hallows’ College next door hosted by All Hallows College and the Dublin City Interfaith Forum. All welcome!
