Words on the Street – A European Literature Trail
taking place in 6 venues around Parnell Square on Thursday 7thSeptember
Join us for a literary evening, listening to well known personalities such as Sharon Ní Bheoláin, Bryan Murray, Rick O’Shea, Johnny Ward and Katherine Lynch read from translated works of European literature. We’ll also be joined by UK author Kit de Waal, who will read from her novel My Name is Leon.
Venues are:
Abbey Presbyterian Church, Belvedere College, Belvedere School, the James Joyce Centre, Dublin Writers Museum and Poetry Ireland
The first reading is at 6.30pm with readings every half hour after, the final one at 9pm.
This event is in partnership with Alliance Francaise, Austrian Embassy, British Council, Instituto Cervantes Dublin, Embassy of Denmark, Goethe Institut, Instituto Italiano di Cultura, Maltese Embassy, Polish Embassy, Romanian Embassy and Romanian Cultural Institute.
