An Irish Association of Christian Counsellors Workshop presented by Heather Moore, M.Psych, MIACP, MIACC.

Workshop Content:

Introduction to suicide and appropriate terms.
Recognising the signs and symptoms.
Irish Law and Ethics on suicide.
Managing the risks of suicide: what to do and say and what not to do and say.
Liaising with mental health professionals.
The impact of suicide on counsellors and family members.
Self – care.

This promises to be an informative day for teachers, social workers, ministers, pastoral care teams and concerned friends and family.
